11 terrorists killed in security forces operations in KP and Balochistan
ISLAMABAD – Security forces killed 11 terrorists in intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
These operations were carried out in South Waziristan, Bannu and Khuzdar as part of ongoing efforts against terrorist organizations.
Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Bannu. Arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession, while the security forces also destroyed a terrorist hideout containing explosives.
Five terrorists were killed during an operation in South Waziristan on a tip-off about their presence in the area. The security forces tracked the movement of the militants and conducted an effective operation.
Meanwhile, 4 terrorists were killed in an operation against Fitnah-ul-Hindustan in Khuzdar area of Balochistan. According to security sources, the security forces targeted the militants with the help of quadcopters.
These operations were carried out to ensure the safety of local residents and to minimize the threat to life and property of citizens.
Five days after the latest operations, security forces and police killed 49 militants in separate successful operations in KP and Balochistan.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operations were aimed at disrupting militant networks and thwarting efforts to undermine peace and stability in the country.
Explosive materials, IED detonating remotes, arms, ammunition and motorcycles were also recovered during these operations.
