33 terrorists killed in operations of security forces across Balochistan, ISPR
Rawalpindi –According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), at least 33 Indian-backed militants and terrorists have been killed in various operations by security forces across Balochistan since September 21.
In a statement, the army’s media wing said five more militants were killed during Operation Shaaban, taking the total number of militants killed in the operation to 22.
Arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the hideouts of militants during the operation, ISPR said.
The army said that the clearance operation in the area of Operation Shaaban will continue until the threat is completely eliminated.
Separately, security forces conducted an intelligence-led operation in Nushki, where they effectively targeted a militant hideout, killing 11 terrorists, according to ISPR.
The statement said that during the operation, the security forces also exchanged heavy fire with the militants, as a result of which 11 terrorists were killed.
A total of 33 Indian-backed militants and terrorists have been killed in security operations across Balochistan since September 21, ISPR said.
It added that the security forces and law enforcement agencies are continuing operations against terrorism as part of the government’s “resolute initiative”.
