RAWALPINDI – The joint operation of Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and Police, named Operation Shaaban, is continuing successfully across Balochistan, with ground and air operations targeting militants.
According to security sources, four more militants belong to⦠Fitnah al-Khawarij Saran was killed in the latest operation in Tangi area, taking the total number of militants killed in Operation Shaaban to 71.
Sources said that since July 5, a total of 109 militants have been killed during Operation Shaaban and other intelligence-based operations across the province.
Security forces also recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from the slain militants, including M4 rifles, sub-machine guns (SMGs), rocket launchers, mobile phones and other equipment.
Security sources confirmed that Operation Shaaban will continue uninterrupted until the last terrorist is eliminated from Balochistan.
