LAHORE – As millions of Pakistanis grapple with persistent inflation and shrinking household budgets, the United Non-Buy Association in Lahore announced fresh price hikes for bread and naan, another staple food item set to become more expensive, putting further pressure on consumers who are already struggling to keep up with rising living costs with little or no money.

The prices of food items are set to rise once again, with the United Bread Buyers Association announcing yet another rise in the prices of bread and bread across Lahore, blaming the rise in flour prices and increase in operating costs.
