Check new cheap petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan from August 28.

ISLAMABAD – The federal government has announced a slight reduction in the prices of petrol and high speed diesel (HSD) with effect from August 28, 2026.

The notification issued by the Petroleum Division said that the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 0.50 per liter after which its new price has been reduced from Rs 343.10 to Rs 342.60 per litre. The price of high speed diesel has also been reduced by Rs 0.19 per liter from Rs 371.80 to Rs 371.61 per litre.

The notification of the revised prices was made following the updated petroleum pricing mechanism and the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

The new rates will be effective from August 28, 2026.
