LAHORE – The Ring Road Police has stepped up its crackdown on speeding and dangerous driving, with social media personalities Rajab Butt and Syed Haider among those fined for violating traffic rules.
Butt and Syed Haider were issued fines totaling Rs 3,600 as authorities continue to enforce a zero-tolerance policy against overspeeding on the Ring Road, the Ring Road Police said.
Police officials said that the crackdown would continue and made it clear that indiscriminate action would be taken against those who violate traffic rules.
Officials warned that over-speeding and dangerous driving will not be tolerated on the Ring Road, regardless of who is behind it.
