Pakistan Navy celebrates Navy Day, pays tribute to 1965 war heroes, ISPR
Islamabad – According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Navy celebrated Navy Day to commemorate the 1965 war, paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of naval personnel who participated in the war.
According to ISPR, Navy Day celebrations started with recitation of Quran and special prayer for martyrs.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Pakistan Navy laid a wreath on the martyrs’ memorial at Naval Headquarters Islamabad. He also met the families of the martyrs and paid tribute to their sacrifices, courage and perseverance.
On this occasion, a tribute was paid to the courage, professionalism and sacrifices of Pakistan Navy.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf said Operation Somnath Demonstrated ability of Pak Navy to achieve decisive results despite limited resources. He said that the courage and determination shown during the operation has left a lasting legacy.
According to the Naval Chief, during the success of the Pakistan Navy against the Indian Navy… Brand right This spirit of courage and determination was reflected.
ISPR said that Navy Day celebrations were organized across the country to commemorate the services and sacrifices of Pakistan Navy men.
