Maryam Nawaz’s daughter Mah Noor will marry industrialist Jabbar Khalid’s son tomorrow.
ISLAMABAD – Mahnoor Safdar, the youngest daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is about to enter a new chapter of her life in Jati Amra.
Mah Noor’s marriage is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 12 at Jati Amra, the residence of the Sharif family in Lahore. The wedding is expected to be an intimate affair, with the ceremony reportedly restricted to close relatives and extended family members. Sources say that around 100 guests can attend the private gathering.
She is married to Azaan Jabbar, son of businessman and industrialist Jabbar Khalid, who is involved in the flour mill industry. The marriage is reportedly an arranged match between the two families. However, the Sharif family has not yet issued a detailed official announcement regarding the marriage.
There has also been no confirmed announcement about the reception, walima or other events.
Mahnoor’s marriage was reported shortly after he graduated from London’s SOAS University. He completed his undergraduate studies in anthropology after studying at the London institution from 2023 to 2026. His graduation ceremony took place during the university’s September 2026 celebrations.
Maryam Nawaz reportedly traveled to London on the occasion and expressed her happiness and pride over her daughter’s success. Now that all three of her children have completed higher education, this milestone is a significant moment for the family.
Despite belonging to one of Pakistan’s prominent political families, Mahnoor has mostly stayed away from the limelight. She is the youngest daughter of Maryam Nawaz and Captain (Rtd) Muhammad Safdar Awan and has two siblings, elder sister Mehr Nisa Safdar and brother Junaid Safdar.
Her occasional appearances at family weddings and events have nevertheless generated attention online, particularly for her fashion choices. Pictures of her wearing clothes by famous designers including Manish Malhotra and Faraz Manan have been circulating on social media before.
The reported nuptials had already sparked interest due to the importance of family, although the celebrations are expected to be considerably more private this time around.
