Minor driver arrested after death of 13-year-old girl in Karachi accident
KARACHI – A 13-year-old girl, Khola Younis, was killed while her 40-year-old father Muhammad Younis was injured as a result of a collision between a car and a motorcycle on Naya Nazimabad bridge in Manghopir area of Karachi.
According to the police, the car was driven by a 13-14-year-old boy at the time of the accident. People present at the spot caught the minor driver and handed him over to the police.
The boy has been taken into custody, and the crash is under further investigation.
Rescue officials confirmed that the injured person, Muhammad Younis, was the father of the deceased girl.
The bodies of the injured father and daughter were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in a concealed ambulance.
