A nurse was gang-raped after being abducted near a shrine in Rawalpindi.

RAWALPINDI – A local hospital nurse was allegedly gang-raped and filmed in Rawalpindi’s Dhamiyal police station limits.

Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) on the victim’s complaint. The nurse alleged that she was assaulted in February and later threatened to circulate the video.

The incident reportedly took place when the complainant visited an area near the shrine for worship.

The FIR said two armed men took him to a nearby hill, where he was attacked. It is further alleged that the accused made a video of the incident.

The complainant has identified the accused as Aqib Gul and Ashiq. According to the FIR, one of the accused allegedly contacted him two weeks ago and threatened to leak the video.

The police have started an investigation and efforts have been made to arrest the accused. Officials say that the case is being dealt with under serious charges and the inquiry is on.
