Facebook faces global outage, users report logouts
New York: Social media platform Facebook faced a massive global service outage on Friday.
According to Downdetector, around 69,569 complaints were recorded on June 12 at 6:39 pm. Users reported that they were unexpectedly logged out of their Facebook accounts.
The company has yet to issue an official statement regarding the disruption.
The outage caused inconvenience to users in several regions, temporarily affecting access to the platform.
