Australia warns citizens against traveling to Pakistan, citing ‘security situation’

The country, home to about 134,720 Pakistanis, issued a fresh travel advisory urging its citizens to reconsider whether they need to travel to the country amid an unpredictable security environment and the possibility of sudden disruptions.
Australia’s High Commissioner to Pakistan, Timothy Kane, has warned travelers that security conditions can change rapidly and affect movement across the country. Australians are advised to avoid large gatherings, demonstrations and demonstrations, warning that such events can turn violent without warning.
