CDF Munir says that the peace and prosperity of the people of Balochistan is the first priority of the state.

QUETTA – Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that the peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Balochistan is the focus of the state’s efforts, stressing that a safe and stable environment is essential for the development of the province.

According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison, where he met the commanders and commanding officers of the field formations.

During the visit, the Army Chief was given a comprehensive briefing on the overall security situation of Balochistan, operational preparations and ongoing measures to maintain peace and stability in the province.

The briefing also covered issues related to institutional coordination and cooperation aimed at supporting the socio-economic development of Balochistan.

Field Marshal Asim Munir appreciated the high professional standards, operational readiness and determination of the soldiers. He stressed the need for sustainable and effective coordination between law enforcement agencies and other state institutions to maintain peace and create an enabling environment for economic activities and development.

He said that a stable and secure environment would help promote development projects, expand economic opportunities and provide a better future for the people of Balochistan.

The Chief of Defense Forces also paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and appreciated the officers and men for their steadfastness, dedication and determination in the discharge of their duties.

On his arrival in Quetta, Field Marshal Asim Munir was received by Corps Commander Quetta.
