Chance of rain in Karachi, Lahore today, latest weather conditions

According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi is expected to remain partly cloudy and humid during the next 24 hours, with some areas experiencing light drizzle during the morning and night.

The Met department said temperatures are expected to remain warm, with a maximum between 33 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius while a minimum temperature of 29.1 degrees Celsius was recorded.

The city has an air humidity of 78%, making for humid conditions, while sea breezes blow at a speed of 18 km/h.

The Meteorological Department has forecast intermittent gusty winds and said isolated drizzle may occur in some parts of the city during the morning and night hours.

Overnight rain made the weather cooler and more pleasant in Lahore, where cloudy skies and sunshine alternated throughout the day.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the current temperature of the city was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 37 degrees Celsius and the minimum is expected to be 28 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological department has indicated a 70 percent chance of rain during the day in Lahore. Winds are blowing at 14 kmph, while humidity is 70 percent, contributing to relatively humid conditions despite the drop in temperature.

On the other hand, intermittent rain is also likely in Islamabad, where the Meteorological Department has predicted that the rain will continue throughout the day. The maximum temperature in the federal capital is likely to go up to 35 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological department further says that this series of rains in different parts of the country is likely to continue for the next two to three days. Meanwhile, thundershowers are also predicted in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
