Currency exchange rates in Pakistan today – August 17, 2026
The Pakistani currency market shows mixed trends, with prices of major international and Gulf currencies varying in buying and selling against the rupee. According to available exchange rate data, US dollar 278.40 for buying and 278.70 for selling.
Euro was available at Rs 320.05 for buying and Rs 325.55 for selling, while British Pound Sterling was priced at Rs 374.89 for buying and Rs 380.84 for selling. The UAE dirham was traded at Rs 76.15 for buying and Rs 77.15 for selling, while the Saudi riyal was traded at Rs 74.05 and Rs 74.70 respectively.
The Kuwaiti dinar, one of the most valued currencies at the listed rates, stood at Rs 883.59 for buying and Rs 893.65 for selling. The Bahraini dinar was priced at Rs 735.25 and Rs 745.35, while the Omani rial was priced at Rs 719.80 for buying and Rs 730.35 for selling.
The Canadian dollar was traded at Rs 198.17 for buying and Rs 202.70 for selling, while the Australian dollar was traded at Rs 194.61 and Rs 198.25 respectively. The Singapore dollar was traded at Rs 216.01 for buying and Rs 224.04 for selling, while the New Zealand dollar was traded at Rs 162.60 for buying and Rs 165.78 for selling.
