Increase in price of gold per tola in Pakistan by 5200 rupees
ISLAMABAD – Gold prices in Pakistan saw another significant rise on Friday amid a global bullish trend.
According to the data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 5,200 to Rs 477,136 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 4,458 to Rs 409,067.
The international commodity market saw a sharp rise in prices where the rate rose by $52 to $4,547 per ounce.
After the same increase in silver prices in Pakistan, the tola price closed at Rs 7,379 with an increase of Rs 210.
Pakistan Stock Market Trades Flat
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) remained suspended after showing limited movement in the latest trading session, with the benchmark index closing at 176,621.25 points.
The index gained 29.49 points, representing a marginal increase of 0.02 percent from the previous close of 176,591.76.
During the session, the index moved between a high of 177,528.00 and a low of 176,110.75, reflecting a relatively tight trading range despite intraday fluctuations.
Trading volume stood at 146,706,410 shares.
Overall, the market ended the session almost unchanged, with the benchmark index gaining only marginally from its previous close.
