Lahore Weather Update Today: Another hot day likely

Hot and humid weather continued in Lahore on Saturday as the scorching sun kept temperatures high across the city.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department says that the current temperature has been recorded at 33 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to reach 38 degrees Celsius later in the day.

The department said humidity remained at 64 per cent, creating uncomfortable conditions and making the heat feel more intense. Winds were blowing at a speed of 10 km per hour, but no rain is expected during the day.

Weather officials said the city is likely to witness a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day, resulting in partly cloudy conditions. The weather is expected to remain hot and humid despite the cloudy skies.

However, the forecast points to a possible change on Sunday. The Meteorological Department has predicted thundershowers in Lahore, which may reduce the temperature and relieve the ongoing heat.

Residents are expected to face warm conditions for the rest of the day before the expected change to the weather with the chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday.
