Maulana Tariq Jameel received an honorary PhD degree from American University.

Lahore – One of the most followed religious scholars of Pakistan, Maulana Tariq Jameel Another major honour, a Florida university awarded him an honorary doctorate in recognition of his services to religious evangelism, social reform and welfare.

The American International Theism University (AITU) Florida honored him in recognition of his services in the fields of religious evangelism, guidance and welfare. The honorary degree was presented to Maulana Tariq Jameel at a special function held in Lahore, where AITU Vice Chancellor Dr Ehab Al Shami presented the award.

Tariq Jameel’s religious, preaching and welfare services were acknowledged on this occasion, which was attended by people from different walks of life.

The Pakistani scholar expressed gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala and described the award as recognition of collective efforts to spread the message of Islam, promote social reform and advance the cause of goodness and humanitarian service. “Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to Allah Almighty for awarding me with an honorary doctorate degree from the American International Theism University, Florida,” he said in a message shared on X.

He further said that this honor is a recognition of the common efforts made for spreading the message of Islam, reforming the society and promoting goodness.

He also thanked his teachers, colleagues, supporters, well-wishers and those who prayed for him, while praying for them to continue serving the faith with sincerity and working for the betterment of humanity.
