MDCAT 2026 Test Registration Update
LAHORE – More than 138,000 students have registered for the MDCAT 2026 exam, which is required for admission to medical and dental colleges across Pakistan.
The entrance test of medical and dental colleges will be conducted simultaneously across the country on Sunday, August 16 at 10 am.
The responsibility of conducting the test has been assigned to different institutions in different regions. University of Health Sciences Lahore in Punjab will supervise the examination process while Sukkur IBA will manage the arrangements in Sindh.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, this test will be conducted under the supervision of Khyber Medical University, while Balochistan’s Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences Quetta has been entrusted with the responsibility.
The examination arrangements for Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have been assigned to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad. The same university will also oversee the MDCAT test center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) said that an additional test center will be established in Islamabad for Balochistan students. Organized by Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences, this facility will benefit the candidates having domicile of Balochistan.
Registration with regular fee will continue till July 13, while candidates can submit applications with late fee till July 18, PMDC said.
MDCAT is conducted for students seeking admission in medical and dental colleges, thousands of candidates appear every year for admission to professional health education programs.
