Mohammad Shahzad scored the fastest century in Pakistan’s first-class cricket.
Islamabad – Pakistan Television (PTV) batsman Muhammad Shehzad scored a new record for the fastest century in Pakistan’s first-class cricket during the third round of the President’s Trophy Grade I.
Shahzad completed his century in just 49 balls while playing against the Kingsmen Academy at the Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad.
Earlier, this record was held by former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq, who scored a 56-ball century against Australia in 2014.

Shahzad’s explosive innings included 12 fours and eight sixes. He scored 114 runs off 62 balls before being dismissed.
This century was Shahzad’s sixth century in first-class cricket.
His 49-ball century is also among the eight fastest centuries in world first-class cricket.
