PESHAWAR – A rescue operation is underway after a coal mine collapsed near Pistwana Top in Hasan Khel area of Peshawar, leaving four people trapped underground.
The incident occurred when mud and debris suddenly fell inside the mine, trapping the workers under the debris. The collapse triggered an immediate emergency response, Pakistan Army personnel rushed to the spot and started rescue operations along with local residents and rescue teams.

Three of the four trapped men have been pulled out alive from the collapsed mine. However, the rescue operation is on as teams continue to try to reach the survivors. Heavy machinery has been deployed to remove the massive debris, while rescuers are carefully clearing the collapsed sections and building a safe route into the mine.
Pakistan Army personnel, rescue teams and local residents are working continuously to find and evacuate people trapped underground in difficult conditions.
Due to the unstable conditions inside the collapsed mine, the operation is being carried out under extreme caution, as rescuers work to reach the remaining trapped person as quickly and safely as possible.
