Complaints of slow internet speed are not confined to one region, as users in several cities struggled with disruptions in online connectivity late Thursday.
Internet monitoring platform Downdetector said internet services were affected in many parts of the country, causing thousands of users to experience difficulties browsing, streaming, working and accessing online services.

The exact reason for the slowdown is still unclear. So far, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has not issued an official statement explaining the disruption or providing a timeline for restoration.
Frustration continues to grow on social media, where users have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to report slow internet speeds and demand answers.
With no official explanation yet, questions are being raised about the reason behind the nationwide connectivity issues as consumers await a response from the authorities.
