Pakistan won big against India in ACC meeting in Bangkok
Pakistan secured a crucial victory against India in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting held in Bangkok.
In a meeting chaired by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, there was competition between the Pakistan and India-backed panels for the three ACC director posts.
According to sources, the Pakistan-backed panel won all three director seats after a close contest.
Rajeev Shukla represented India in the meeting. Discussions also focused on next year’s Asia Cup, to be hosted in Bangladesh, with matches proposed to be held in Sylhet, Mirpur and Chittagong.
The meeting also approved the ACC budget and reviewed the arrangements for the Women’s Asia Cup in Dubai.
