Passport offices across Pakistan to keep delivery counters open on Saturdays

ISLAMABAD – The government has decided to keep passport office delivery counters open every Saturday across the country, allowing citizens to collect their ready passports at the end of the week.

According to the sources, the passport delivery counters will be open on Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm to provide more convenience to the citizens in obtaining passports.

The special facility of delivery of passports on Saturdays will initially be maintained for two months.

On the other hand, sources say that passports not collected from the relevant offices for more than six months will be destroyed as per government policy.

Citizens are advised to get their ready passports from the respective passport offices in time to avoid any inconvenience.
