Petrol price in Pakistan reached Rs 343.10 after another increase.
Pakistani authorities have increased the prices of petrol and high speed diesel (HSD) for August 26, 2026. A notification shared by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) said that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices under the Federal Government’s revised Petroleum Privilege.
Petrol price has been increased by Rs 1.12 per liter after which its price has increased from Rs 341.98 to Rs 343.10 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs 1.11 per litre, from Rs 370.69 to Rs 371.80 per litre.
According to the notification of the Petroleum Division, the revised petroleum prices will come into effect from August 26 and will remain in force till August 27, 2026.
Consumers will have to pay higher prices for both major petroleum products, putting further pressure on transportation and fuel costs.
