The names of Mohsin Naqvi, Ishaq Dar, Aurangzeb are prominent in the list of civil awards of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s latest civil awards list brings together political heavyweights, foreign dignitaries and artists. From Mohsin Naqvi, Ishaq Dar and Aurangzeb to Saudi and Turkish officials, the awards span politics, diplomacy, medicine and public service.

The highest national civil awards will be given to distinguished foreign personalities, medical professionals and those associated with the country’s diplomatic and social services.

Dr. Jal Ratanji Patel and Dr. Jal Dhabu, who treated founder sage Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, will be awarded the Nishan-e-Azam, which recognizes their association with the country’s most revered historical figure. The list of honorees also includes several senior officials from Turkey and Saudi Arabia, highlighting Pakistan’s close ties with both countries.

Saudi Prince Saud bin Nayef will confer one of the country’s highest civil honors, the Hilal, on Pakistan. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Turkish Defense Minister Yasir Guler and Turkish Trade Minister Omar Bulat will be honored with Star of Pakistan.

This list also includes the names of Dr. Khalid Abbas Al-Asadi and Dr. Paul Jacob Bhatti, who will be awarded the Medal of Imtiaz.

The announcement combines historical recognition, international diplomacy and distinguished service, the awards reflect Pakistan’s efforts to recognize individuals whose contributions are linked to the country and its foreign relations.
