Turkish Armed Forces Victory Day Ceremony held at GHQ: ISPR
RAWALPINDI – A ceremony to commemorate the 104th anniversary of the Victory Day of the Turkish Armed Forces was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.
Ambassador of Turkey to Pakistan Irfan Nezerooglu attended the event as a special guest.
According to ISPR, the ceremony highlighted the enduring brotherhood and close bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey, rooted in a history of shared values, mutual respect and unwavering support for each other.
The participants paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the Turkish Armed Forces and reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the long-standing defense and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Turkey.
The ceremony was attended by military officers, officials of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey and other distinguished guests.
ISPR further said that the event ended with a goodwill gesture to the people and armed forces of the Republic of Turkey.
