Two people were killed when an oil bowser caught fire at a petrol pump in Quetta.
QUETTA – Two people were burnt to death after a fire broke out in an oil bowser at a petrol pump in the market near Saryab Customs in Quetta.
According to Director of Fire Services Abdul Haq Achakzai, Metropolitan Fire Brigade successfully controlled the fire by taking timely action. Six fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the spot.
Firefighters conducted an elaborate rescue operation, which prevented the fire from spreading further, he said.
Achakzai added that the quick response helped save the petrol pump, nearby vehicles and surrounding properties from major damage.
