The latest increase comes after one of the most turbulent months for Pakistan’s bullion market. Gold prices started July on a weak note, slipping to a range of Rs 417,000 to Rs 424,000 per tola before recovering sharply following a shift in global market sentiment.
The rebound turned out to be equally dramatic, with the market witnessing a one-day jump of Rs 4,700 and Rs 4,600 per tola, briefly pushing prices closer to Rs 429,000 and Rs 433,836. Trading was highly volatile in the closing days of the month, with daily fluctuations between Rs 1,800 and Rs 4,600, keeping investors and jewelers on edge.
During July 2026, gold prices slipped to around Rs 424,200 before touching a level of around Rs 442,900 per tola, a short-term swing of over Rs 10,000. Despite the sharp volatility, prices have now stabilized around the Rs 430,000 mark, though market participants remain cautious about further movements.
