India-JAAC nexus exposed as Kiran screens spark fresh propaganda row.

Muzaffarabad — A fresh row along the Line of Control has erupted after claims that the Indian Army showed videos linked to the outlawed People’s Action Committee in Kiran sector during Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations.

According to the allegations, on August 13 and 14, the videos were shown on a large display at a place about 75 meters from the LoC in Kiran sector. Footage circulating on social media purportedly shows material linked to the banned committee and its leader Aman on a large screen.

The development sparked allegations of collusion between Indian officials and the Action Committee, with critics describing the reported broadcast as an attempt to stoke anti-Pakistan sentiment and influence public opinion on partition.

The allegations came as the committee’s narrative reportedly faced resistance from some sections of the population in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Supporters of Pakistan’s position have interpreted the alleged Indian media coverage and alleged screening of the videos as evidence of an attempt to amplify the committee’s message.

Analysts have been cited as claiming that the reported activity reflects growing Indian frustration with what they describe as a rejection of the committee’s narrative by the people of Azad Kashmir, particularly during Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations.

The episode reignited the debate over information warfare along the Line of Control, where competing narratives and propaganda have long been used by both sides to sway public sentiment.

If independently verified, the alleged screening of political content so close to the Line of Control could add another controversial dimension to the already strained India-Pakistan relationship.
