Eid Milad-ul-Nabi: The federal government has declared a public holiday on August 26.
ISLAMABAD – The federal government has announced a public holiday across Pakistan on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved a public holiday on 12 Rabi Awwal after which the Cabinet Division has issued an official notification.
According to the notification, Wednesday, August 26 will be a public holiday across the country.
The sixth Eid will be celebrated in connection with Milad-ul-Nabi (peace be upon him), which will be celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
