Arsalan Butt sent a legal notice to actress Momal Shah Jafar on harassment charges.

The controversy that started with allegations of harassment in Pakistan’s showbiz industry has now taken a legal turn, with actor Arslan Butt sending a formal legal notice to co-star Momal Shah Jafar.

Arslan Butt shared the screenshot of the legal notice on his official Instagram account and publicly reacted to the issue for the first time. Captioning his post, the actor used strong words and said: “Allah curse the liar.”

The actor said that legal action has been initiated against him for false and defamatory statements. He further warned that further legal action will be taken if an apology is not sought within the stipulated time.

The controversy came to light when Momal Shah Jafar during a podcast interview accused Arsalan Butt of harassing her during a shooting project. According to the actress, the actor allegedly tried to hug her while trying to resolve an issue on set and got angry when she refused.

Arslan Butt, however, denied all the allegations and called them baseless and chose to pursue the matter through legal channels.

The issue has been receiving mixed reactions on social media, with mixed opinions from fans and consumers alike, while the controversy continues to garner attention in showbiz circles.
