Two Pakistani citizens were martyred by BSF firing near Kasur border.

Kasur – Two Pakistani nationals were killed and one injured in an incident of alleged firing by the Border Security Force (BSF) of India near the Pakistan-India international border.

According to security sources, three local Pakistani citizens of Ladhar village were a few steps ahead of a border post when the BSF personnel allegedly opened fire on them without any warning.

Sources said that the three civilians were unarmed at the time of the incident. The deceased have been identified as Azmat Rasool son of Attaullah and Mohsin Jat. Both belonged to Jattanwali Haveli in Ladhar area.

According to security sources, none of the three persons tried to cross the border fence.

Sources further said that Indian media had also declared innocent Pakistani citizens as infiltrators.

Pakistani security sources described the alleged firing on civilians as a clear violation of the border agreement and established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
