Abrar Ahmed climbed to No. 2 in the latest ICC T20I bowling rankings.

Pakistan leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed has climbed to the second spot in the latest ICC T20I bowling rankings, achieving a career-best position.

According to the rankings released on Wednesday, Abrar surpassed India’s Varun Chakraborty with 736 rating points. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan leads with 753 points.

Among Pakistan’s other T20I bowlers, Mohammad Nawaz is ranked 12th, Salman Mirza is ranked 20th and Shaheen Shah Afridi is ranked 30th with 602 rating points.

In the T20I batting rankings, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan is the country’s third highest-ranked batsman with 848 rating points. India’s Ishan Kishan regains the No. 1 position while compatriot Abhishek Sharma slips to the second spot.

Other Pakistan batsmen are Saeem Ayub at 40th, Babar Azam at 42nd and T20 captain Salman Ali Agha at 44th.

In the T20I all-rounders rankings, Saeem Ayub is ranked third, followed by Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza at first and India’s Hardik Pandya at second.

In the latest Test batting rankings, Mohammad Rizwan has reached the 18th position while Babar Azam has reached the 19th position. Saud Shakeel remains at the 23rd position while Salman Ali Agha has fallen two places to the 28th position.

Among Test bowlers, Nouman Ali remains Pakistan’s highest bowler at number seven. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Abbas moved up two ranks to 25th and 26th position respectively.
