Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s daughter Mah Noor Safdar entered a new chapter in her life by getting married to Azan Jabbar in Jati Amra.
The private family occasion may have been deliberately kept away from the glare of a big public celebration, but glimpses of the bride’s appearance quickly became a talking point after photos and videos of the event circulated online.

Mahnoor appeared in a sophisticated silver gray and champagne color dress that was a departure from the bright colors traditionally associated with Pakistani bridal fashion.
At the center of Mahnoor’s bridal ensemble was a diamond necklace consisting of a large cushion-cut yellow gemstone surrounded by a halo of white diamonds. Her earrings were designed to complement the necklace, also featuring a combination of yellow and diamonds.
The true nature of the prominent yellow gemstone, however, could not be independently verified from the available images.
Despite the online attention surrounding the bride, the wedding itself remained a private affair. The guest list was limited to a limited circle of immediate family members, relatives and family friends. Nevertheless, the Sharif family and many important figures of Pakistan’s political scene were brought together in this gathering.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif participated in the ceremony while Nawaz Sharif was also present. Mahnoor’s father, Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar, along with Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz, were among those reported.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and senior provincial minister Maryam Aurangzeb are also reported to have joined the gathering. According to reports and family sources, Mahnoor’s husband Azaan Jabbar belongs to a prominent business family.
He is the son of businessman Jabbar Khalid, who is said to be an established industrialist in the field of flour milling and trading.
The wedding comes soon after Mahnoor completed an important educational milestone in London.
Before returning to Pakistan, Mahnoor completed his higher education at London’s SOAS University and recently attended his graduation ceremony.
Maryam Nawaz went to London privately to join her daughter on the occasion. During the celebrations, Chief Minister Punjab proudly spoke about the educational achievements of his children and said that by the grace of Allah, his three children have completed higher education.
After Maryam Nawaz and Mahnoor returned to Pakistan, a family consultation was reportedly held before the marriage date was fixed.
The event finally brought the families together at Jati Amra on Saturday, with the private gathering marking the latest family milestone for the Sharif family.
