Due to changes in the global market, the price of gold in Pakistan fell to Rs 452,963 per tola
KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan fell due to a wide-spread fall in the international bullion markets. The latest decline reversed modest gains recorded a day earlier, as gold prices were under pressure both locally and globally.
The price of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 2,300 per tola to Rs 452,963. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold settled at Rs 387,615 with a decrease of Rs 2,070.
Gold rates in Pakistan

| gold (per tola) | 455,263 Rs | -2,300 Rs | 452,963 Rs |
| Gold (10 grams) | 389,685 Rs | -2,070 Rs | 387,615 Rs |

The latest decline followed Wednesday’s trading session, when gold rose by Rs 100 to Rs 455,236 per tola.
The decline in local prices is due to movement in the international market. Global gold prices fell by $23 an ounce during the day, taking the international rate to $4,305 an ounce, including a $20 premium.
Along with gold, silver prices also fell. The price of silver in the local market decreased by Rs 144 per tola, after which the new price was Rs 7359 per tola.
Gold prices in Pakistan generally follow international market trends, while exchange rate fluctuations and local demand also affect domestic prices. The latest decline highlights the close correlation between global bullion movements and local precious metal rates.
Amid the global boom, the price of gold in Pakistan reached Rs 444,336 per tola.
