Gold prices in Pakistan have increased after five days of decline.
KARACHI – Gold prices rose sharply on Wednesday, ending a five-day losing streak in both the international and local markets.
In the global market, the price of gold per ounce increased by 91 dollars to 4063 dollars.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 karat gold per tola increased by Rs 9 thousand 100 to Rs 4 lakh 28 thousand 736 while the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 7 thousand 802 to Rs 3 lakh 67 thousand 572 in local bullion market.
Meanwhile, the price of 24 carat silver also rose by Rs 203 to Rs 6,445 per tola.
