KARACHI – Gold prices rose in Pakistan last session amid a positive trend in international bullion markets, pushing local rates to fresh highs.

Global trade also saw an uptick, with gold rising $11 an ounce to close at $4,111 an ounce during the week. Pakistan’s bullion market closely monitors international price movements, as they play a key role in determining local gold prices along with currency fluctuations and local market conditions.
Silver prices followed the same upward trajectory. Silver prices in Pakistan rose by Rs 30 per tola, bringing the latest rate to Rs 6,462 per tola on Saturday.
The week ended on a positive note with local and international gold prices reflecting continued strength in the latest bullion market.
Silver price in Pakistan touched the highest level of 6462 rupees.
