India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in Women’s T20 Asia Cup.

In the important match of Women’s T20 Asia Cup, India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets.

Batting first, Pakistan struggled against the Indian bowling attack and were bowled out for just 55 runs, leaving India with a target of 56 runs.

Chasing the target, India scored 56 runs for the loss of three wickets to win by seven wickets. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur top scored with 18 runs while Deepti Sharma and Shafali Verma scored 12 runs each.

For Pakistan, Shawal Zulfikar was the top scorer with 14 runs while Muniba Ali scored 13 runs, but Pakistan’s batting line-up failed to offer much resistance against the Indian bowlers.

Pakistan started their Asia Cup campaign by defeating Thailand by 35 runs. Their next group stage match is scheduled for September 7 against Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, India had already defeated Thailand and Hong Kong in the tournament.
