Karachi Police arrested the accused of allegedly raping a foreign woman
KARACHI – Karachi’s Derakhshan Police has arrested the named accused in the case of alleged rape of a foreign woman in Clifton area.
According to the police, the accused was identified as Adi Mehmood, who was taken into custody after being named in the case. He works as a sanitation worker in Clifton and is a resident of Mehmoodabad.
Derakhshan SHO Rashid said that the age of the foreign woman is about 50 years. According to preliminary investigation, the woman had gone with the accused earlier and on her return, she invited him to her apartment to show her pet dog.
The police say that the arrested accused has been handed over to the investigating police for further legal action.
The case is under investigation.
