Mayor Karachi’s office was completely gutted due to fire in KMC headquarters.

KARACHI – A fire broke out at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) headquarters on MA Jinnah Road, gutting the office of Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab.

The fire started in the kitchen adjacent to the mayor’s office and quickly spread throughout the area.

Rescue officials say that two fire tenders have been deployed to control the fire. The fire was brought under control later.

Officials have confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident. Further investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.

The fire caused extensive damage to the mayor’s office, while emergency teams swung into action to control the fire and prevent it from spreading further inside the KMC headquarters.
