Metro bus accident at Azadi station in Lahore, 10 passengers injured
LAHORE – Panic spread among passengers after two at Azadi station near Shahdara. Metro buses. 10 passengers were injured in the collision.
According to rescue officials, the accident took place at Azadi station where the two buses collided with each other while running on the Metrobus route.
Ten passengers were injured in the incident. Nine injured sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by rescue personnel.
An injured passenger was taken to a hospital for further medical attention. The crash has prompted an official inquiry to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.
GM Metro Bus Operations Uzair Shah said that an investigation is currently underway and the driver found responsible for the accident will be suspended.
Authorities are now reviewing the incident as an investigation continues to determine responsibility for the collision.
