ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has announced a recruitment drive for various branches and trades, inviting eligible Pakistani male candidates to apply online.
As per recruitment details online registration is open from 6th July to 19th July 2026 through PAF official website.
Categories available include Aerotech, Aero Support, PF & DI, Security, MTD, Fire Fighter, Medical Assistant, and Music Trades.
Eligibility criteria for various trades
Candidates applying for most categories must be Pakistani unmarried males, with certain age, height and educational requirements.
For Aerotech, applicants should be between 15½ and 19 years of age, while Aerosupport candidates should be between 17 and 20 years of age.
Matriculation with science subjects and specified marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with minimum 65% marks are required in both categories.
PF and DI category requires candidates aged 16½ to 21 years with a minimum height of 178 cm and 6/6 vision without spectacles.
Security applicants must be between 17½ and 21 years of age with a minimum height of 175 cm, while the MTD and Firefighter categories also have separate age requirements, including conditions for candidates holding LTV/HTV driving licences.
The Medical Assistant category requires high academic standards, including at least 70% marks in matric science and biology.
For music category, candidates having matriculation in science or arts with minimum second division can apply.
Relaxation for candidates from Backward Areas
PAF has provided relaxation in marks conditions for candidates belonging to backward areas of FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan.
Applicants from these areas will be eligible with lower requirements for matriculation marks and English marks.
Selection Process and Physical Test
Candidates will undergo computer based intelligence test along with written tests in English, Physics and Mathematics.
A physical evaluation will include:
One mile run: To be completed in 8 minutes.
Push-ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
Setups: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
Chin-ups: 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
Benefits and facilities for selected candidates
PAF provides various facilities including free food, accommodation and medical care to the successful candidates.
The personnel will also get various allowances and funds during service and after retirement, as well as educational scholarships for children and concessional travel facilities for Hajj.
Documents required for the test
Candidates appearing for the examinations should bring original documents, including Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC), Computerized National Identity Card or Form-B, and passport size photographs.
PAF Information and Election Centers in major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta will help in the recruitment process of candidates.
