Pakistan has condemned the Israeli attack on Syria’s Abu Zahar Airbase.

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has strongly condemned the unprovoked attack by the Israeli occupying forces on the Abu Zahar Airbase in the Syrian city of Idlib.

Such provocative actions are a clear violation of international law, and have the potential to further undermine regional peace and stability, the Foreign Office said in a statement on Wednesday.

Pakistan expresses its unwavering solidarity with the brotherly people of Syria, and reiterates its full support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, peace and prosperity of the Syrian Arab Republic.

Pakistan also calls on the international community to play its role in ending the repeated violations of international law by the Israeli occupation forces and hold them accountable for the destabilizing actions in the region.
