Today Weather Update in Lahore: Temperature likely to go up to 42 degrees Celsius.
LAHORE – According to the Meteorological Department, severe heat is continuing in Lahore as the temperature rises due to the strong sun.
The current temperature is recorded at 34 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature today is expected to be 42 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 32 degrees Celsius.
Humidity has been recorded at 52%, with winds blowing at a speed of 11 kmph.
The weather is expected to remain hot and humid throughout the day, with partly cloudy conditions continuing to alternate between sun and clouds. The Meteorological Department says that there is no chance of rain today.
Meteorologists have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight and increase water intake to stay safe in hot conditions.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted the onset of monsoon rains in the city from July 1, which can bring relief from the ongoing heat. Citizens have been advised to keep abreast of the latest weather conditions.
