Woman arrested on charges of motorcycle theft in Karachi, husband absconding

Karachi – The police arrested a woman allegedly involved in a motorcycle theft incident in Soldier Bazaar area of ​​Karachi, while her husband managed to escape.

According to the Karachi Police, the suspect named Sahar Batul was arrested on a tip-off. Investigators said his arrest was made with the help of CCTV footage.

Police alleged that Sahar Batul and her husband are involved in dozens of motorcycle thefts across the city. CCTV footage allegedly shows the couple stealing and riding a motorcycle.

Soldier Bazar police arrested the woman accused involved in lifting the motorcycle. Accused Sahar Batul was arrested with the help of CCTV footage while a stolen motorcycle (KQX-2361) was recovered from her possession. During the operation, a stolen motorcycle was also recovered from the possession of the woman.

Police said that a case has been registered against the arrested accused and her absconding husband while further investigation is on.
