As thousands of students and members of Sikh groups descend on the Indian capital, an Indian teenager claims he was offered Rs 40,000 by a marketing agency to make a pro-Modi video and counter the CJP’s ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar, sparking fresh anger over campaigns allegedly paid to shape public opinion.

According to the viral video, the youth alleged that he received an email from a marketing agency offering him Rs 40,000 for publishing a pro-government video. He claimed that the agency has promised to provide a ready-made script that is directed to portray the protests as harmful to the country’s interests while highlighting the Modi government’s performance in a positive light.
The individual questioned the funding source behind such alleged campaigns, asking whether public money was being used to finance efforts to shape public opinion. He also expressed concern over the alleged use of state institutions against critics of the government.
The clip went viral, and users linked the alleged offer to what they described as an organized PR campaign in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Several posts claimed that the campaign was launched to influence public perception following student-led protests across the country.
The controversy has also reignited criticism from pro-government commentators, with social media users alleging that media-driven narratives are losing credibility with the public and authorities are now trying to counter growing dissent through paid online content.
