According to the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the new ex-depot price of petrol has increased by Rs 13 18 paise to Rs 310.71 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs 13 80 paise to Rs 323.30 per litre. The revised rates will be effective from July 11, 2026.

With fuel prices on the rise yet again, commuters, transporters, and businesses are expected to feel the impact almost immediately, as the higher cost of transportation is likely to increase the prices of everyday items in the coming days.
