KARACHI – Gold prices rose on the first business day of the week in Pakistan, after a marginal increase of Rs 300 to Rs 4.24 lakh a tola. The latest gain was accompanied by a modest rise in international bullion prices, while domestic silver prices also recorded gains.
According to the market rate, the price of 24 thousand gold per tola increased by Rs 300 to Rs 4 lakh 24 thousand 536 in the local market. The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs 258 to Rs 363,971.

The latest gains came just two days after a big rally on Saturday, when gold rose by Rs 2,400 to close at Rs 424,236 a tola, highlighting continued strength in the bullion market.
In the international market, gold rose by $3 an ounce, taking the global rate to $4,021 an ounce, including a $20 premium. The rise in global prices was reflected in Pakistan’s domestic market, where the bullion rate is closely linked to international trends and currency movements.
Silver prices also increased. The price of silver rose by Rs 107 per tola, while the price of metal rose to Rs 6177 per tola.
Market observers say investors are keeping a close eye on global economic developments, as international bullion prices remain a key driver of local gold and silver prices.
