Mir Raza Case: Jibran Nasir’s claim of pressure on his father

KARACHI – Jibran Nasir, the lawyer of the father of slain Karachi businessman Mir Raza, has claimed that his client is being pressured to avoid further legal action.

Talking about the case, Nasir said that Mir Raza’s father received a call last night during which he was informed that SHO Adil Afzal is his child and the FIR has been taken from him.

Nasir said the caller also told the father that “Aamir Farooqui has been spoken to” and asked if he suspected Asif, Abid, Ahmed or Abdullah.

According to the lawyer, the caller became angry after Mir Raza’s father did not raise any suspicion.

Nasir said that he has submitted the call recording and screenshots to the registrar.

He further alleged that after Dr. Samia’s statement, Mir Raza’s parents were being pressured not to take further action in the case.
